This looks absolutely unreal...look at the detail http://www.gamespot.com/video/926596/6175559/videoplayerpop? http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/adventu...175559&autoplay=6175559&tag=topslot;action;1# Unfortunate that this will probably not be an exclusive title....but it looks amazing.
why would it not be an exclusive? this is one of the only games sony has made an effort to keep exclusive.
Because PS3 sales haven't been high enough for them to sell as many games as they want to....Hideo Kojima already pretty much said that the game will be released later on 360. here is a link: http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/adventure/metalgearsolid4/news.html?sid=6173911 But anyways, does it look sick or what??
I don't see what's so unfortunate about a game being unexclusive. The more systems it's on, the more games will be sold, which is more money generated. Unless you are a Sony employee or shareholder or something, I don't see why anyone should give a shit if a game is unexclusive. I, as a consumer, think it's better since it doesn't force you into buying a system just for a certain title.
it's going to be exclusive. Sites like gamespot keep reporting these rumors after konami time and time again debunks the rumors.
But that is the whole reason why exclusive titles are exclusive titles....really, its a tradeoff of profits....will the game developer make more money by sellign games on all systems, or will the console company make more money by forcing ppl to buy the sytem to get teh game, while the developer only gets to sell on one system...
was it just me or did the soldier's seem deaf? like when he took out the rifle and its shot were crazy loud the soldiers didn't react. And when he shot one with the tranquilizer gone while he was right behind the other one the other one didn't react. Otherwise, it looks amazing. I love the over the shoulder view so you can actually aim your gun now. Im so gonna get this when it coems out
Obviously the console company makes more if it's exclusive, and obviously the developers make more by having it on multiple platforms. So why the hell wouldn't the developer just make it's game for every platform? Only reason I can think of is if the console company pays them a certain amoutn for the exclusive rights, which I'm guessing is what happens. Otherwise it would make no sense to limit the audience/consumers.
Right...so that must be the trade-off that the developers have to make. Do you take a pay-out form a compnay to keep the game exclusive and wonder if youd have made more by releeasing it more widely, or release it to all platforms and hope the money you make is more than the payoff would have been...
