Alright so in the offseason these are some moves I'd like to see

RB: Well it obvious we have a bit of an issue here. With Lt gone, we have 2 young players (albeit decent looking guys) behind Greene. I think we sign Jason Snelling (He'll be a FA) from the Falcons to compliment Greene. He's one of the cheaper options thats a FA.

WR: Obvious need some work here. Bye bye Plax, hello again the Braylon Edwards. I think we re-sign him just cause of the chemistry him and Sanchez had together. We draft one also.

TE: Dustin is fine but I think we sign John Carlson. He is a fantastic blocking TE who could compliment our run game really well. We have pretty good depth at TE. Keller, Cumberland, Baker. Yeah Mulligan won't be back next year.

OL: No FA moves here. I think we draft a Tackle 2nd-3rd round. Wayne Hunter is nothing more than a decent backup. Obviously resign D'Brick. Moore is getting up there as well. Resign Turner

DL: Sign Sione for one or two more years. The only move I could see us making is a bid at Matt Roth from Jacksonville. Thats about it

LB: Were getting up there in age. Thomas most likely gone, Pace slowing down and Scott getting up there we need to do something in the Draft and FA. I'm not sure who we can afford now that I look at the list so I'll have to rethink it.

DB: Sign Michael Griffin from Tennessee and I guess resign Jim Leonhard. Leonhard has been injured, but I say we sign him cheap to a 2 year contract with Smith and Pool as backups

Punter: I don't even care just not Conley!

    DRAFT

Round 1 - ILB Vontaze Burficit ASU
Round 2 - OLB Brandon Lindsey Pittsburgh
Round 3 - RT Zerbrie Sanders FSU
Round 4 - WR Dwight Jones (6-4 redzone threat)
Round 5 - FS Eddie Whitely VT
Roudn 6 - TE George Bryan NCST (6-5, 270lbs could be a good blocker)
Round 7 - QB Case Keenum ( He'd projected 6th to 7th round, just give sanchez some competition.)

Just gave it a shot, be gentle.

    "be gentle"

    I will be.

I like the Braylon Edwards re-signing exactly because of the chemistry with Sanchez.
I want to resign Sione for 2yrs as well. And I think we can get something from Matt Roth if we bring him here.
And yes ---- Michael Griffin should be our big 2012 FA pursuit.

Not a fan of the draft. Much better BPA options at many positions other than Lindsey - he's a 3rd rounder at best. Dwight Jones wont be available to us in the 2nd round.
Sanders in the 3rd is a decent pick --- and the rest of the draft is ok.

No offense, but I hate your mock draft. I would be very upset with that draft. Sanders won't be a 3rd round pick. He is a borderline first round pick at this point.

I will be gentle and say I'm not a huge fan of this off-season.

However, WHY does everyone think we need to spend another draft pick on a pick, on a backup QB ok we did last year, if we need third string QB lets get a UDFA.

I agree with a lot of this but I don't find a need to go QB in the 7th round of the draft just for the fact we have McIlroy (if thats how you spell it) to give Sanchez some competition.

A for effort for sure. I'm ok with Braylon coming back. I can't imagine him getting big money this year when he didn't get it last year. I think they can't take the risk on another young RT, so I look for a veteran in FA. I know it makes no sense based on what we've seen but maybe Vlad develpoes with an off season program. The OLB I like in the draft are Melvin Ingram, Upshaw,Perry and Whitley. Must get another WR in round 1 or 2. Must have more depth and must be able to spread the field with someone other than Patrick Turner. Got to have at least one safety who can play right away. Absolutely no depth at safety right now.

but we have Greg McElroy who looked pretty solid in the preseason, so I still dont understand. And the fact that you picked Keenum is even more confusing because I would think if you bring in a QB as competition you would want one who isnt coming from a air raid offense

Competition isn't going to come from a 7th round project QB. If we want competition we sign a vet.
