All Super Bowl related stuff goes here

    A couple of interesting notes:

Dallas is the host city and the two teams in the Super Bowl were at one time a major Cowboys nemesis (The Packers in the 1960's and the Steelers in the 1970's)

Also interesting note these two teams have 2 of the largest fan base in the league

The Packers were the team of the 1960's and the Steelers were the team of the 1970's

Let's go packers! I hate rooting against the AFC but those Pitt fans do not deserve to see another championship.

Totally agreed. Last thing I want is Roethlisberger hoisting up another Lombardi after knowing we should've beat that team.

Let's hope that Rodgers throws for 450 yards!

The Packers never trailed by more than 7 points at any point during the season. They are the first team to not trail by more than 7 points in a season since the merger.

The Packers are the first 6 loss team to lose all 6 games by 4 points or less.

That is a very interesting stat..well both of them are.

I think it will be a very sweet revenge game..atleast for me..to see the Steelers lose. :)

I'm totally rooting for the Packers. The Steelers have won enough, and it will be nice to see the Green Bay fans totally get over Brett Favre by winning the big one with their new franchise QB.

I'm gonna pull for Green Bay as well. If the Squeelers win all we're gonna hear is how Rapistburger is up there with Troy Aikman and Joe Montana as one of the greatest QBs of all time just becuase he, "has 3 rings."

I hate him because he gets credit for those championships when the Defense was at least 90% responsible for them. The "clutch plays" he makes at the end of games usually wouldn't be necessary if he didn't play like dogshit the first 55 minutes of the game.

Ignore the fantasy #s, Ben was the reason we lost last week. We can hate him all we want but give the man some credit.

He had a 30-something passer rating for the game! How can you say that he beat us???

    Rashard Mendenhall beat us.

The rating doesn't tellt he story. ben made big plays w/ his legs and w/ his arm in the first half then w/ the game on the line needing two 1st downs to end it he made 2 huge plays for 1st downs ensuring our offense wouln't get a crack to win the game. Ben was the best player on the field for the Steelers, he made the biggest plays- #s never tell the whole stroy.

If he doesn't throw those 2 horrible picks the game's not even close, thus neutralizing the necessity for his "clutch" plays at the end.

Neither pick was "horrible". One was on a 4th down and 1 and we only gained 2 yards off of it and the other was a deep pass which pinned us deep in Pitt territory. The 2nd could have been bad as it could have prevented Steeler points but it would have been 3rd and 11 at the Jets 37 so in all likelihood they would have been punting anyway. neither TO led to Jets points.

I have no horse in this race, but I do think the Packers are going to steam roll the Steelers. I don't see how they're going to slow down Rodgers inside. If it were outside, it would be a different story.

For the first time in a while the superbowl will be a snooze fest.

Arizona had a lot of good offensive weapons in the Steelers' last SB appearance. GB's receivers are very good but I don't know that any of them are as explosive as Larry Fitzgerald. James Starks isn't going to run for much on the Steelers.

The only major difference is that Green Bay has a defense too.

If Chicago held GB to 14 offensive points, I think the Steelers can do a good job as well. This Green Bay team you think is going to steamroll the Steelers nearly lost to the Bears 3rd string quarterback.

I believe strongly in the Steelers' chances at climbing the Stairway to Seven.

Keep in mind Chi did that at home in the cold not at a neutral site in perfect conditions. I think the game will be close but I think GB finds a way to win or so I hope. You are a good fan but I could never root for the Steelers again w/ the trash I saw at the game last week.

If you are referring to fans AT the game, that's no way to judge a fanbase. I saw drunk women flipping me the bird when we went to Cincy for a game. Home football fans for every team love trying to rub it in the face of opposing fans. Strength in numbers I guess. It's a lot easier to talk trash to opposing fans when you outnumber them 20-1

I'm sure Jets fans are nothing but model citizens at the Meadowlands.

One thing people are underestimating is how much speed the Steelers have on both sides of the ball.

Mike Wallace, Emmanuel Sanders, and Antonio Brown are all speed demons on offense. Playing in good weather at a neutral field will help them as well.
