Question. When did the Yankees last win the world series? When did they last put up a competitive fight in the World Series? 2001? 2003 they got manhandled by a team with 1/3 of the payroll...
The rumored new BoSox alternate cap, presumedly to go with their Sunday reds; And the rumored new BoSox away jerseys. I'm not a fan of either, to be honest. The piping seems out of place and the 'B' cap is a classic.
Your right i've seen a team get manhandled by a team with 1/3 the payroll before, OH SNAP it was the 2008 ALCS.
The Papelbon jersey is photoshopped message board concept. This is what I've been seeing as the supposed road jersey.
Giants since birth(1984), BoSox since 1990. I hated the A's and despite getting stomped in the ALCS(4-0), I was hooked. The G4 debacle was a classic. So many personnalities on that team! Clemens(G4 outburst still makes me laugh), Boggs, Morgan(despite his being an idiot now), Pena, Burks, Quintana.
Circle logo improved with the fonts being fixed, but also demoted to secondary in favor of the lone hanging socks. Nice. Pointless, but nice.
The same reason the Yankees would move out of Yankee Stadium $$$$$$$$$$$$$ and more $$$$$$$$$ oh and for shits and giggles even more $$$$$$$$
Color me excited. I've always wanted RJ in San Fran, especially since this incident back in the day...
[qoute=Nick Cafardo] The Red Sox would really rather not move Clay Buchholz for a catcher, even if that catcher were Jarrod Saltalamacchia or Taylor Teagarden of the Texas Rangers. However, Daniel Bard may be in play for a potential deal with Texas. [/quote] I'm torn. Salt or Teagarden would be FANTASTIC behind the Boston plate, but Buch...man is he special...
