I am proud of the effort my team gave all season. They fought hard to the end.

Too many mistakes in this one, and yet they still had a chance to win it at the end.

Can't win 'em all, and despite the loss I'm still the luckiest man on the planet because I have a healthy handsome son in my life now, and that's what truly matters.

I know some of you will take pleasure in the fact the Steelers lost, and that's just fine with me. It goes with the territory. If we had to lose the Super Bowl to anyone, I am glad it was the Green Bay Packers.

The Steelers will be back again soon.

They were very fortunate to be there. The refs helped them steal a win vs the Dolphins and God helped them in Buffalo.
The Ravens should have won the North. But, look, they didn't. Those are the breaks. My point, though, is that I don't think the Steelers were any better than the Ravens and the Steelers got the breaks.

Then the Jets took care of the Patriots for the Steelers.

Seriously though, good game. Green Bay was the better team today. As the Steelers were the day they played the Jets. If they played again, who knows? Pittsburgh will be back. They always are.

You snuck that part about your son in there to make it trash talk-proof, didn't you?

Nah, I added it to point out that regardless of how this turned out tonight, it's already a damn good 2011 for me.

Congrats to the Packers and their fans. Also congrats to the Steelers as you all put up a really good game. Hopefully 2011 season will be here. And we won't be left without one. Keep your fingers crossed and hope that the CBA issue will be resolved!

I was very glad the steelers lost - I like Tomlin a lot but the steelers players, meh, not so much.

Agreed. For me, though, it was bitter sweet because watching that game convinced me even more that the Jets should have beat them (yeah, yeah, woulda shoulda coulda, but we shoulda!)

Meh. Even if the Steelers won I wouldn't have been that pissed off. The only teams I don't want to see win again in the near future are the Giants and Patriots. I could care less about the others.
