Last week Oakland knew what to expect i.e. the roll outs the short passes (Oakland stacking 8 in the box) Jets need to try and stretch the field, they have the size and it will open things up. I think Greene is over rated and is going to have a tuff time tomorrow. If the jets stick to predictable short passes the running game will be worthless tomorrow.

The offense was moving the ball all game. The defense couldn't get it done.....

How many times was Sanchez sacked and the Jets faced 2 and 3 and 20's? they moved backwards for 70% of the game.

No doubt, that's on the OL. Not predictability.... I thought the offense was decent given how awful the OL was.

We need to use John Conner more.

    Oh noes...not the terminator!

What the fuck is he gonna do?

    He's stronger than Greene?

    More nimble than LT?

I know. Maybe he can pass out of the backfield.

Blocking help, asschin. Give him the ball occasionally, let him show what he can do with the ball and his presence won't be a run play tip off. He's a solid blocker who could help out Wayne Hunter.

    Please.

It's gonna take more than that to shore up the OL.

...occasionally??? like when...during April showers? You said it best. He's a "solid blocker".

    It's in his blood.

Nothing wrong with predictablility if you execute and have the match up advantages.

yes too predictable, our defense needs breaks and the O can't sustain drives.

we're scoring 25 points a game. I say lets stay "predictable" and continue to score 25 pts per game. Good idea right? Right.

we've scored the 9th most points in the NFL so far. If I told you we would be in top ten in pts scored in teh NFL this year, with our supposed great defense, would you sign up for that? hmmmmmmm? 5 threads on how to fix our offense is retarded.

You know how we look at other team's boards and laugh at some of their threads? Well these are the threads that other fans can look at and laugh at us

We're scoring 25 points a game because the other team is giving up the ball a lot.

    To wit:

Cowboys gave up 10 points off of turnovers late including the blocked punt.

Jaguars gave up 13 points off of turnovers plus the safety.

So 25 points out of the 83 the Jets have scored so far this year were caused either by turnovers or special teams.

On the other side of the ball the Jets have given up 14 points on turnovers or special teams, 7 off of a Sanchez pick and 7 off of Cromartie's fumbled KO.

In other words we're been very fortunate so far in the bounces the ball has taken. Relying on that good fortune to continue is unlikely to produce the results we need. The Jet's offense needs to really step it up, and as was apparent last week and against this Cowboys so does the defense or we're in trouble.

If the offense didn't score any points at all, they would have zero.

This shit is just that, shit. Im not gonna keep track on every drive and every turnover. How bout times when teh offense has a good drive and flips field position on our opponent and they start inside tehir 10 yard line or something. The defense is now at a distinct advantage. Its all nonsense. Our offense has been better than our defense this year. Period!

That's true. On the other hand if we hadn't played Tony Romo in the 4th quarter and Luke McCown in the first three we might be winless at this point based on how the offense and defense have performed.

If the jets made no good plays they would probably be winless. Why exactly was half the board sad to be missing out on this logic?

If the Jets hadn't changed their name from the Titans, there would be no Jets in the league.

Lets wallow in misery over near losses.
