right after graduating Uni (SUNY Buffalo) one of my co-workers who'd been stationed in Germany added the "meister" to the "Los" I had been called since I was a JR in HS.
My original nickname was steJ. Switched to Jets and my birth year at some point for some reason. May have been because seeing steJ on the screen got on my nerves. No disrespect, @steJ
At one point in my career I worked as a Colormatcher tinting various stains, and lacquers. This was prior to the automatic dispensers, that are prevalent today. Using the old canister system that we all used to see in the hardware stores, you would set it , lift up, and pump the pigments into the base. In conjunction with being one of the older guys, I was given the name Papa pump by my coworkers.
I thought it was very important to let people know where I am from and which football team I support.

The first Internet forum I joined back in the early '00s was devoted to discussing a particular car. Everyone had car related user names there. My name is the code number of a popular option package. When I joined different sites after that, I didn't want to have too many different user names and passwords. So, I recycled this name every time, with one exception. I am "KindaBlue" on a music-oriented site that I joined early on.

Good thread. Like ukjetsfan and FinnishJET, mine just shows where I live. I've used many different "handles" on the various Jets sites where I've posted over the years. When I started posting on Jets fan sites, I was living in NYC, so NCJetsfan wasn't accurate.
I started off as eyeh8dapats. Baumeister was my grandpa’s last name. I spent many hour fishing with him growing up and really had a deep connection with him. I changed my handle to show him some love. It’s been 21 years since he passed away and I miss the hell out of him. Hold the people you truly love in your life close. You never know when it will end. You never know when that last fishing trip or goodbye will come. I would love to have just one more fishing trip with my grandpa. He taught me so much about fishing and life.
My little sister misprounced my name when she was a baby as Phubba. Loved watching Hook when I was younger and Rufio (or one of the lost boys) yells Pan Da Man! Since I am also the man, I became phubbadaman.
