Terron Beckham 5'11" 230 LBs 23 year old fitness Model. He is a distant/estranged/long lost (not close) cousin of O'Dell Beckham who hasn't played Football since high school. Wants to be a NFL RB. He Looks more like a full back. Passes the eye test and has really good combine numbers though not combine. 42 reps of 225lbs, sub 4.5 40 time, 44" Vertical. Interesting prospect who I think is worth a look as a practice squad guy maybe even a 7th rounder.

Looked for a few things on the guy. Thought it would be a good laugh but the more I saw the more I liked. Very explosive but unproven. Lacks experience but doesn't have the mileage either.

Yeah I thought it was a joke at first too. Definitely a long shot but no different from trying to take basketball player or rugby player as a project.

Not really, basketball players or rugby players have at least proven they are athletes that are capable of competing at a high level.
So far this is what we know this guy is capable of:
    - Having a talented distant cousin
    - lifting heavy weight
    - playing high school football and not being good enough to play anywhere after
    - taking selfies and pimping out bullshit supplements on Instagram for 17 years old to get tricked into buying when they first start lifting

The problem for someone like this is their lateral quickness, speed and agility in pads & with a ball in their hands.

If it were as easy as transforming a guy with measurable and strength and speed into an NFL players, offensive lineman would all be body builders and wide receivers would be Usain Bolt-esque track stars.

Being good in the weight room and on the track doesn't necessarily (and rarely) transfers to the football field.

He actually has good hands... very good and fast on his feet...can run route a decent route.. and is probably one of the most atheltic guys we've had around in a while. Who knows if he can be any good.. Nobody that big should be able to run and move that fast lol. If all else fails, send this manimal full speed down the field on kickoffs and knocks somebodys socks off!

Forget running back, if the dude has any football IQ switch him to a ilb and have him crush some rb's. Honestly though this is just a cash grab because he shares the same last name with that asshole in blue.

I'd say he's a little bit short and about 15-25 lbs too light for ILB. As far as cashing in on his cousin's name is concerned, he hasn't collected a single penny yet or signed any contract. So far, he's proven himself to be the prototypical workout warrior during the private workout attended by Jets staff and numerous scouts from other teams. IF he demonstrates actual game skills that translate into viable on-the-field performance over the course of our Rookie Mini Camp, why wouldn't he deserve a shot to make the team as a running back?

If this guy makes the team it's time to open the Beckham sperm cloning factory

At a minimum I think he'll get to play training camp for a CFL team. He's good for publicity even if he ultimately doesn't have game
