What is more important a solid O-Line or a bruising running back

Wouldn't you build the foundation(O-Line) first.

After all in the beginning of the game you could have had barry sanders on the field and he would have gained noting with that poor performing jets offensive line.

I truly believe that you need both to have a really successful running game. You need a big O-Line that can manhandle the D-Lineman and you need a running back with good vision and the acceleration to get through the hole.

DE, OL, LB -- in the order of best-player-available. after that, i think you find a RB (or in FA).

those positions alone can make a huge difference.

    cheers

Don't we already have our foundation for our o-line in Mangold and D'brick?

Both are needed on this team, I don't see why there is a need to favor one over the other. I feel we need an upgrade at RB, but I would also love to see them pick up O-linemen in FA or Day 1 of the draft. People do this every year on the board. Last year it was QB or O-line. Then the FO went out and got both. They will fill the needs on the team.

We need both. We need a (road-grater) Right Guard and /or Tackle and somebody that can carry the ball 20+ times that falls forward when hit. Hopefully, through free agency (we're 28 mil under the cap) or the draft (best bet for a RB: 3 picks in the first 2 rounds) we can address these problems. Honestly, to me, the future is looking bright. :drunk:

We need both, but getting bigger and stronger along the OL is more important, without question.
