    Veras blows the hold.

3 runs for Anaheim. 3 solo-bombs. Yanks 2 solo bombs.

Top 7 killed the Yanks...2nd and 3rd nobody out, Abreu nor ARod could deliver.

Why did Jeter bunt that inning? And can ARod come through in a big spot again? Come on.

Yanks get an out, then Vlad gets another RBI. 11-3 Angels with Hunter up.

F the pitch count already. Giese was pitching well and the bullpen was dreadful. When will they learn to go with the hot pitcher? The bullpen can't be trusted to hold the lead. I grant that they've been better than expected this season, but still not good enough.

Of course not but I blame Abreu b/c we know ARod isn't coming through so all the pressure was on Bobby and he failed. We could have broken that one open right there. This was a crushing loss. I only expected 1 of 3 this weeekend at best but if we won that won we would have had a chance to take the series now we will be fortunate to walk out w/ 1 win.

The season still isn't over but the job is getting more difficult by the day.

The bats are an embarrassment led by the $30 mil man, I don;t know why we didn't just let him leave when he opted out. We had our out, we could have used that money to improve other areas but we were suckered in by his great year last year where it was essentially a contract year and we know he's all about money and not about winning.
