I recall how excited people here were when Manish took over for Cimini and how people here thought that the DN coverage was going to be so much better. I am not that confident in our new beat writer being significantly better. After watching Cimini and Manish manufacturer controversy at the DN I would conclude that this is what the DN wants and that they will ignore almost all standards of ethical journalism. That being said I prefer reading both Cimini and Manish over anything from Darryl Slater and NJ.com. That site is just pure misleading click bait and an abomination and everything that is wrong with modern online style journalism. Occasionally Manish would actually offer insight and actual information and despite Cimini being an Ass and very unlikable I think he provides the most detail and inside information of any Jets reporter and I grudgingly look forward to his columns.
Guy talked a good game and came across well but and it is just a minor but, in a city, the size of NY can they not get a reporter who is a true Jet fan to do the job rather than a hated enemy team fan? We get the same over in the UK, as a Manchester City fan, Manchester has a local paper called Manchester Evening News dubbed the Manchester Utd Evening News by City fans, but all the City correspondent are Utd fans, you can always tell, they trip themselves up eventually with their bitterness. That new comic erm I mean newspaper The Athletic, just the same, the City reported is a Man Utd fan, fucking stinks and gets on my nerves tbh. You know what I'm saying right? That was a little joke if you'd watched the video
No publication would seek a Jets fan as a beat writer because negative sells exponentially better than positive.
Welcome to the world of a Man City fan, the only press we get is negative lol the other team's fans lap it up.
