We come from all walks of life and we share a love for the NYJ. This is a great unifier--the rich and the poor, the wise and the not so wise, the old and the young. Tomorrow could be a great day or one that is going to hurt real bad for us all. I pray that we win, but if we don't, its going to be a really tough week for us. I don't really know exactly what I'm trying to say--a few shots of bourbon have maybe affected me. Maybe I'm trying to say that I appreciate that this venue exists and I appreciate the brotherhood that we share. Tomorrow at 4:30 we will either be in joy or we will be suffering together. Don't get too down if we lose. Don't do anything stupid beyond posting to this site. If you feel you are going to lose it in real life, reach out to your brothers here. We may argue and such, but we all know deep down we feel the same way. May your deepest wishes be fulfilled for good. May your families be in good health, and may your children live long and happy lives.
haha, well, OK my brother! You must be relatively new to this "Jets" thing to feel this emotional over what is essentially a "play-in" game against the Bills. The bourbon might be a factor too ; ) Good season win or lose - remember, the NY Post had us at 4-12. Many of us have been through many many many disasters with this team and are battle-hardened. To those who haven't, take it from an old timer. Things here are on the up. I am confident in victory tomorrow. If it doesn't happen I'll be bummed, not devastated. But it's going to happen. We will win. I'm saving my devastation for a couple weeks down the road. LOL. Peace.
Pretty drunk I have some big revelations Jeeeeeettttts. @Cman60 is in fact Bill Cosby @JStokes is a Pats fan @abyzmul is a Taliban posing as ex army. @Dierking is an asshole(not much of a revelation) @joe is a Dolphins fan. @matt robinson 17 is the coolest fan on this board. Hats off. Respect. @Cman60 is my master and my Grandpa. True revelation. My wife said either I will give up drinking during, before amd after Jets games or she will take kids and head back to Bulgaria to her parents. Yes she is Bulgarian. I am giving up drinking after Jets season is over. Let's go Jets. Extend my lone pleasure in this foreign country away from my family and friends. Jeeeeets, don't fuck this up and win. If you lose, you are worse than @Petrozza
Still got his roofies in your system ? My condolences. The rumor in the old country was they don't shave their legs. Hope she learned under your supervision. LOL
Be like the IDF , IDF I hope you are not betting heavily on games or something. PS Alcohol is really a depressant lol Season not over by a long shot IMHO
After being numbed by 40+ seasons ending in disappointment, I don't think one more will be that difficult to handle. The problem with this franchise has been that many of those devastating season ending losses have negatively impacted the team for several subsequent seasons. Win or lose today, hopefully the team has turned the corner on that defeatist mentality.
47 years bro... I used to sit in shea on the sunny side of the field at the 50. Watch Joe, Don M, Boozer, caster, etc. Then gave up my tickets but never lost the love of the team..through the BAD and the good.... I believe this team is headed in the right direction and I am proud of the owner who finally got it right! Win or lose today, if any of us said we would be playing for a PO spot at 10-5 January 3rd we would have jumped at it.
Kurd you idiot. How many times do I have to correct you. Do I call you Canadian or British all the time?
Haha--I actually was feeling really good when I wrote this. Not betting my friend--I just feel like everyone from Woody on down to the nobody fan deserve this win today and it would be hard if we don't get it.
