Should give our OL a really good test.

We will have to see what happens on Saturday. This should be the first real test of the season and considering its in game 3 when the starters play a little more it should be interesting.

I know. I didn't watch the game but heard they were pretty fierce. I guess it's time to see all of those $$$ in action this week. I hope they have gelled as much as the press says they have.

We probably won't do as well as we might have later in the year. Two new players and they are still learning assignments. That will take awhile longer before they get it down. I wouldn't expect them to shine this week.

Well if that is the case then Man may wish to hold out BF & throw Ainge/KC & BR to the wolves.

Money is money & talent is talent & for sure yesterday nite the NYGs DL totally overwhelmed the CBs OL & in the process knocked Anderson out of the game.

brett faced that same 'dl' in the playoffs and played them into overtime. i don't think brett is tooooo skeered of the giant dl. if anything, brett is thinking revenge, even with a scaled down playbook and only 10 prectice sessions with an all new team.

edit: i wonder if mangini is picking brett's brain since the pack just played the g-girls and brett probably knows better then anyone.....what worked, what didn't, what pass 'not' to throw in ot, etc etc etc

Yes but that was the GBPs OL not the NYJs OL which has some leakage in it with Brick & Moore

I was thinking that too. I don't think we will see Favre for three quarters like you usually do in the 3ed preseason game. Especially if they get to him more than once.

The 1st one could injure him just like the 4th or 5th ones (see Anderson last nite)

Our starting o-line has looked very good in pass protection so far in the pre-season. This will definitely be a good test though, the Giants d-line is fast, strong and talented across the board. They made the Pats o-line look like swiss cheese in the superbowl as well as the Browns o-line last night.

I think GB's o-line was helped by BF's quick reads and release. Did U C AR getting hit time after time this week?

Yes I looked into the GBP/SF game for about 5 minutes & said ha ha & went on to other things that were more productive then watching that game.

I'm not as well read on Green Bay's offensive line but looking at their message boards you can see plenty of the same type of griping you have seen here about neglecting their offensive line.

I'm sure Favre has some idea of what the Giants' line can do.

Nor & I. Somebody was comparing BF game last year vs the NYGs & all I said is last year he played behind the GBPs OL & this year it is different because he is playing behind the NYJ OL which has to semi weak links Moore & Brick
