http://blogs.nfl.com/2010/02/26/arizona-drops-2014-super-bowl-bid-nyc-now-favorite/ Its about time a hosting team would play the Super Bowl :drunk:
Hopefully the Giants can get their act together and join us there to make things really interesting .
Its the typical New Yorker's being Jealous that New Jersey actually has land to build on...:metal:
I have to say, this doesn't make sense. Some of the events will be in East Rutherford, while every party and the convention center will be in New York. Not sure how that's gonna work.
Yeah, no kidding and since when has the NFL ever played a superbowl game in a potential blizzard or do they think by 2014 they will still be playing football in April?
As much as they don't deserve to get it (not getting the stadium in the city, PSLs), I'd love to see the pansy fake fans at the game freezing their asses off.
Football should be played in snow and rain. Time for little premaddona QBs to earn their paychecks and play in real weather. Im sure youll see plenty of tears from QBs missing their domes. And hey shocker. Last season the # 1 2 3 MVP candidates were all QBs playing in Domes. This isnt soccer or baseball, these guys are supposed to work for a living lets stop making it so easy for them.
Football should be played in the eliments, but the SB willnever be confused with reall football. And thus will never be played outdoors in the NE. It would be Fun around here, but no shot.
North Jersey missed a HUGE blizzard by a hair this year on Super Bowl weekend. This could be a big mistake.
A SB in a huge blizzard would be nothing short of awesome for fans. Unless of course youre a fan of a terrible team who overcompensates by building their entire team around their QB and can do nothing well outside of passing the ball. They might not like it so much
