Not that I'm even slightly surprised by this, but apparently Sammy is name number 2 on the list of 104. Only 102 more to go. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/17/sports/baseball/17doping.html
Yeah, I want to see every single name. I don't get why ARod was leaked all by himself when there's an entire list out there. Now Sosa is thrown under the bus solely... just throw everyone under the fucking bus already!
I don't think that any of those names should be released. If I'm not mistaken all of those players tested voluntarily under the condition that their anonymity would be protected and that the tests would be destroyed. Uncovering these names as part of some witch hunt to uncover past steroid use (which, I remind you, both Major League Baseball and the media ignored and profited tremendously from) is totally unfair.
Sammy Sosa, king of the meaningless homerun...I swear Sosa used to hit so many meaningless homeruns with his team ahead/down by several runs late in ballgames
I can't take it seriously when the media is using one list to make 104 "big" time stories. I don't care and don't look at the players any differently
At this point, whatever. I don't care any more. There's a list that the media is going to enjoy playing with for the next few years, and it's completely wrong considering that list was never supposed to become public. Two things about it: 1) It's getting harder to believe that "everyone" wasn't doing them in the first place (which may or may not be fair to most of baseball) 2) You can rest assured that from now on the union will be completely uncooperative when a situation like this happens again.
