I'm a Yankees fan, so you are dead wrong about Bartolo Colon. I acknowledge Smith and Brassard. I also would include DeWayne Robertson and Kyle Wilson. Based on those four names, you should be praising me for my track record identifying poor players versus the teams who kept them way further than they should have.
Respectfully, I think you are the one with the obsession. You are putting the focus on me instead of the teams you claim to be a fan of. Just because a fan of a team acts differently or supports the team differently than you do does not make them any less of a fan than you.
I have a life too. A very blessed, full life. The fact that a sporting event can upset me as much as it does proves how blessed I really am.
Tampa wasn’t dead at 2-0 in the series, the Rangers had the chance to bury them. My question about can this team beat Colorado wasn’t so much saying the Rangers ended Tampa, it’s more so a fan dreaming about a legitimately possible scenario. Tampa would have been dead if the Rangers took care of business with a 2 goal lead halfway through the 2nd period of game 3. Having a 3-0 lead is all but officially ending it.

i can be persnickety about hyperbole. i myself attempt to avoid it. for me "bury" would qualify. eg- Oct 2004 as a Sox fan I was humiliated to be 0-3 down and SEEMINGLY dead. I told a coworker " Its one thing to LOSE but ffs, getting KILLED" then i thought well.. maybe this is the only way the Curse can be broken? It WAS NOT a prediction. anyway... am an old codger with peculiar ways. no offense intended. fwiw.. i was SUPER EXCITED when we were up in the 3rd period, G3 and more disappointed after a Ranger loss since TB beat us in POs 2015
Dudes! It's 2-2. Chill already. Even if we lose game 5 in the Garden we'll just be in the same position we were in the last two series. I doubt we'll lose game 5 though.
