Rangers have scored the most goals since the end of the Trade deadline.

I still think that Tampa Bay, with all their experience, would be a tough match for Boston.

They also have the weight of expectation on them but they’ve seriously been lapping the competition since the first puck dropped.

Pre-suspension Miller would not have made the gaffe he made tonight that cost the team the game. The guy is absolutely lost right now.

The lack of defensive depth on this team is very troubling.

It's a meaningless game against the St. Louis Blues. Relax man. Do I need to post the numbers again?

Miller + Trouba has been a lockdown pair since Miller came back from suspension.

If you think their defensive depth is troubling, you will never, EVER be satisfied with a group of defensemen.

Getting Lindgren back was big. Even Harpur has a place. He showed that against Tampa. He took on all comers. He did yoeman's work in that game. I think the D became a narrative in the media mid season with a bunch of generic type media like espn and tnt. Meanwhile they lead the east in goals since Tarasenko got aboard, I believe

Let’s give the “extra effort” award to a player who milked a day-to-day injury for two months. What a joke.

I like numbers too. Here are some numbers that suggest that The Miller/Trouba defensive pair is among the worst statistically in the league.

Nothing to see here tho, right?

That's for the entire year. Trouba and Miller were horrendous up until Miller's suspension; I'm not disagreeing with you there at all.

I've explicitly stated in multiple posts that their play since Miller has come back from suspension has been a top defensive pair.

These numbers are as of the Lightning game, as per Natural Stat Trick.

    Goals For - 18
    Goals Against - 6
    GF % - 75%

    Expected Goals For - 11.86
    Expected Goals Against - 10.45
    xGF% - 53.16%

    Scoring Chances For - 117
    Scoring Chances Against - 104
    SCF% - 52.94%

High Danger Chance For - 52
High Danger Chance Against - 44
    HDCF% - 54.17

    O Zone Start - 21%

They start in the neutral zone or defensive zone 79% of the time.

Miller/Trouba have been a shutdown pair since March 7th.

I sure am not putting serious stock into a meaningless game 81.

The Rangers are out here getting cardio my friend. Stop freaking out over meaningless hockey like you have been for the last week.

This is a really good hockey team. Enjoy the Cup run.

The only thing that matters out of these games is staying healthy and seeing Igor look like a God yet again

These games are NOT meaningless. Home Ice advantage is on the line for round 1. First place overall is still mathematically possible.

if the Devils host Game 7, I will remind you how “meaningless” these games are, Ok?

Yeah, stellar. A real D man woulda taken that puck flush in the face. And not run off like a cunt. Where is he now? playing golf?

    Meaningless.

If I could forfeit these last games to keep everyone healthy, I fucking would. The Rock is the Rangers 2nd arena.

The Canes aren't losing out, so we aren't winning the Metro.

It'll be a Rangers home game anyways. Who cares.

I was referring to Miller, and his horrific turnover that led to the second Buffalo goal and cost the Rangers the game, not Lindgren.
