As you know from my Jets-related interviews, I co-host a 100% commercial-free, no one makes a dime from it, Sports Talk radio show on Long Island. The other night, we had on South Bend Tribune Notre Dame beat writer Eric Hansen as our guest. The interview is 36+ commercial-free minutes of nothing but Irish Football talk.

    You can find it at:

Here are some of the topics discussed (in chronological order):

    --Victor Abiamiri
--ND players on Mel Kiper's 2007 Draft List
    --Jeff Samardzija
--A discussion of ND players who benefited from the Weis system
--A discussion of Charlie Weis' contract and how he's here for the
    long haul
--Eric discussing being in the room with Charlie talking to a recruit
    on the phone
--How the college lifestyle is better than the pro lifestyle for
    Charlie
    --Jimmy Clausen
    --Duval Kamara
--A discussion of how the next step is to bring in a Clausen on
    Defense
    --ND recruiting New Jersey again
--A discussion of which 2006 first year players will have the most
    impact (Burkhart/Reuland/Young/Aldridge/Stewart/West/Tsmith/MoRichardson/McNe
    il/Walls/Wenger)
    --Chris Stewart
    --The Blue/Gold Game
    --Rick Minter's Complex Defense
    --A discussion of the LB's
    --A discussion of the CB's
    --ND's new philosophy regarding scheduling
    --Kevin White's candid comments
    --ND's night games this year
--A discussion of the Air Force being on CSTV
--How will Brady Quinn perform under the microscope this year?
    --AJ Hawk and Laura Quinn
    --Bavaro-Fasano-Ragone
--A discussion of ND players going to Parcells/Belichick/Reid/Fox
    (friends of Weis)
--A discussion of Eric's 2 books on ND Football

As always, thanks. And, please tell some ND fans.

^ Don't know if he means it or not but I sure as hell do. The ND offseason is way too long. This should be a great listen. Thanks.

Where in Dublin do you live?, my mom's sister as well as my cousins are over there. Anyways thanks for the thread, Im a big ND fan. My parents had a house on O'Connell street, my parents sold it in the 80's I think, boy do they regret that now.

Oh man, Paddy's day is always a great day:breakdance: I'll be in Ireland for 1,1/2 months this summer after they come. unfortunately I wont be in Dublin much, I'll be working in Tipp, hopefully I'll get a few days off and go to Dublin, always have a good time there. Orlando is pretty cool anyways, I love the theme parks they have there and such:beer:
