Not satisfied with our Punter and Kicker

I youtubed Drew Colemen and found some sick highlights of him as a RB when he was younger.

Since it was on youtube, he should be our running back, youtube is the best way of evaluating someones talent.

 

Look @ Folks career numbers, and there is no reason to suspect he is the worst kicker out there.

At best hes a complete wild card. He could be an elite pro bowl kicker, or absolute garbage. Id have nothing against bringing someone like Rackers in for a little competition in TC but it likely wont happen.

Weatherford on the other hand im not a fan of. I think a defense first team needs to have an elite punter.

 

I youtubed Allen Iverson and he was a pretty good QB at Newport News. He should be our kick returner.

 

I have a friend who met Neil Rackers, and he said that he is a total asshole. I don't want him near this team, he choked in the playoffs too.

 

I realise that both are important roles on the team, and I recognise that doing either badly can cost games and Championships, but does anyone else struggle to care very much about kickers?

 

After what happened against the Steelers in the playoffs a few years ago I think every Jets fan should care about kickers.

 

I know I should care, I just can't find it in me to. I expect kickers to do their jobs and not fuck up, as long as they do I'm not interested in them.

I realise this is unfair, but I'm a fan. I'm allowed to be unfair.

 

I'm guessing we go 2 deep in camp. Folk and a UDFA.

 

I care more about who our punter is than our kicker. A great punter paired with this defense is practically unbeatable.

 

Think we attempt to pick up a punter somewhere along the line ? I surely couldnt complain if we drafted one with our 6th or 7th rounder.

Weatherford was 28th for punting avg, and 26th for net punting average.

 

We'll probably give someone a shot to take Weatherford's job.

We should recruit Epic Beard Man. He certainly has the youtube credentials.

 

He's too old. Keyboard Cat would infuse the position with youth.
