As usual things like this probably aren't known by ppl outside of the teams involved. But Vick being somewhat-sort-a-kinda connected to a shooting is news for a month. I get that inter-national news needs to use shocking stories to get viewers but sports news doesnt need this. They have their target audience and die hards so why not promote the good?

Exactly. Fuck the haters. The guy deserves a second chance. Hell, Tommy B. has gotten no flack despite the fact that his "body guards" tried to murder a photographer who was trying to take pictures of his wedding. Where's the outrage for that incident? Oh I forgot, smoking a joint and listening to music on a plane are the real crimes in the NFL world.
He did a good thing, that doesn't mean he's a good guy all of a sudden and is doing all the right things. I hope he has changed and will do the right things going forward but he has alot to prove- this was a great first step.
