I could've started Jacoby Ford (19 points) over Stevie Johnson (16 points), but other than that, I started the optimal lineup; I made good decisions. This stings. If you lost and were eliminated in Fantasy Football this week, and you wanna share, then please do -- it'll make me feel better.
I already lost by 2.12 points. I have no players left. I guess my only hope is that Chicago gets shutout, and Gould somehow fumbles twice.
Damn son, it's the worst benching someone who would have made a difference. Ford will be a 5th or 6th rounder for me next year.
I'm going to the ship despite AP not even playing today. I need he and Arians to be healthy to take down the powerhouse of my league though.
Yeah, he has enough speed and playmaking ability that should equate to him being more than just a flash in the pan, so I'll also have him on my list of targets next season.
Same here. I have a 15 pt lead with AP left and his team is finished. My team didn't have the greatest week but neither did my opponent.
I like it. My decision on who starts in the flex is almost always based on the match-up (more so than the other spots where I usually stick with the same guys), which is why I like it. It requires knowledge and feel for game because you have to make that decision when you're given a bunch of choices.
Thank you Arian Foster, for completely fucking up my life multiple times this weekend. I hate you. Choke on a fucking dick, you goddamn piece of shit.
Michael Vick single-handedly killed me yesterday. I had the Giants D against Vick AND DeSean Jackson (punt/kickoff returns don't count in this league), so by halftime, I was thrilled with the way things were going, especially since Cedric Benson was actually producing, and the last-second decision to put in Collie payed off despite his early exit. Then the second half happened. The only saving grace was that DeSean was contained. By the GB/NE game, I was down 26 pts with Jennings, Branch, and Gronkowski left to play, and no one on the opponent's team. With all the news saying that Hernandez was unlikely to play or get fewer plays, I figured Gronkowski was a safer play than Cooley (on my bench)... wrong. The GB offense was on the field for way too long, and minus that one TD (with no yardage on top), Flynn just about never looked Jennings' way, and my two Pats receivers were thrown to in the first quarter and then ignored pretty much the rest of the way. Very frustrating loss, especially since I was 12-1 for the regular season, with just about everyone else finishing just over/under .500. Arian Foster not putting up his usual numbers would've been tremendous help. I think I finished down about 9 pts.
On the opposite side of things, Branch and Foster doing miserable almost sunk me (started Branch over Jennings bc of Flynn) but Mike Vick single-handedly gave me a tight win. It's not even like my team had a bad day and needed to be saved, my opponent just got massively lucky all over the place (Witten, Blount, and fucking Santana Moss).
I also sat Jennings and started the 3 WRs you see in the pic. I even picked up Gronkowski (3 points) and started him over Keller (2 points). That's what pisses me off: I think I made some pretty good decisions but still got flatout beaten. Fuck Fantasy Football.
My team only scored 2 collective TD's and they both came from Kitna and I still lost the Semifinal matchup by 6 points. All my players had good stats except for Welker but none of them found the fucking endzone. In the meantime had Maurice Morris and Johnny Knox sitting on my bench with enough pts to get me the win. Blows. 11-2 season with 1600 pts scored down the fucking drain.
