Offense RB - Lynch ; TE - Martin ; WRs - Evans & Parrish ; C - Hangartner ; RT - Green Defense NT - Williams( I like Kyle, buts he's not a 3-4 NT) ; DE - Johnson ; ILBs - Posluszny & Ayodele ; OLB - Torbor ; SS - Whitner Add in the fact that this was year #1 of new systems on both sides of the ball and you have to expect the Jets to dominate us. I was very nervous about this game because of the way they dominated us last year(not counting week#17 for obvious reasons), but when you go back and look at who was starting that day, its not a shock the game ended like it did. Now look at who replaces those guys..... Offense RB - Jackson ; TE - Chandler ; WRs - Johnson & Jones ; C - Wood(his natural position) ; RT - Pears Defense NT - Dareus ; DE - Carrington ; ILBs - Barnett & Sheppard ; OLB - Moats ; CB - McGee ; SS - Wilson That's upgrades to 13/22 positions, plus add in this is year #2 of the systems. I like our chances this week against the Jests...........what says you guys?
You can discount the January 2nd game all you want but the fact of the matter is that FJax rushed 13 times for 35 yards.
jets didnt have holmes, or revis Kyle Williams is a push for Dareus. Dareus will most likely be a better player in the future, but he is a rookie.
Yeah but we had Maybin and now they have him. Also lets not underestimate Mckelvins sucking ability. Holmes could have a big day if Schotty calls some plays his way.
That was against our backups... This is a pathetic thread. Kyle williams is better than Marcell Dareous. Idc if NT isnt his natural position, he is still a top 7 DT in the league. Dareous is a rookie. And had one good game, plus he's playing against the best center in the league. Wilson played the majority of the game and so did Steve Johnson so you can cross off those two excuses. Who's fault is it that Fjax was riding the bench? His and the fucking Bills. Since when is Nick Barnett better than Paul Posluzny? Oh wait. Bc he left the Bills Posluzny cant be good...
it's a combination of sanchez/schotty. i have to admit the jets have done an awful job coaching sanchez. he has been coached up not to fuck up, and becomes very trigger scared.
Also no Calvin Pace Im pretty sure bc of the broken foot... So that is 3 of our top 10 players, and 2 of our top 4 players out. You can easily say everything you said for every team, just a pointless argument- "we upgrade half our roster, 2nd year in system blah blah blah"...

Sanchez did start and handed the ball off like 10 times before B. Smith running all over the Bills and Brunell came in.
