No shave November

    Anyone else participate in this? I forgot to shave on November 1 so I'm just letting it ride from October 28. I've never completed the entire month before. I always end up shaving around thanksgiving. I'm going for the entire month this time!!

    Who is with me?!

    My manager, who resides in Belfast, highly supports Movember and almost bullies us into it. But I'm not sure I can deal with it this year, and since I don't have to hear his chiding every day, I think I can get away with it. I did it the past couple of years and almost went insane by week 2.

    A friend of mine at work did it last year and didn't stop at the end of November, his beard is down past the middle of his chest now. I tried to bribe him to cut it off on November 1, he want buying my paltry funds.

    Yeah I'm sure a lot of jobs don't allow for someone to grow their beard this long without some sort of maintenance, luckily for me, Mine does.

    I stopped shaving in August--was out of work for a week with some minor surgery--so I just kept it. Pretty tightly trimmed up. The GF likes it as do the kids, so I'll probably keep through the winter.

    There really is no such thing as No Shave November in Portland. It's basically just ummm.... November? How about No Californians December, oh shit, too late!
