Tomorrow's showdown against the Pats will go down as one of the bloodiest, hard-fought, take-no-prisoners contest in their storied rivalry. The plots and sub-plots have been broken down ad nauseam for a week now, on both the air waves as well as the internet. From "spy gate" to " 2 end zone cameras" to "the handshake", one could be forgiven if he forgot there was actually a football game to be played. Ah, the game. The much-despised Patriots are favored by what? 10 touchdowns? Or what that the first half line? Whatever, make no mistake, this game will be a blowout. Everyone knows the Jets offensive line is so good their own backs can't get through it. Their defense is offensive. With the exception of Leon Washington, their ordinary teams are far from special. And I won't even get started on the coaching. But by most accounts, the weather will be worse than Jets fans moods. Bad weather is supposed to be the "great equalizer". It sure worked for Miami in '83. But there is no Super Bowl on the line in this game, so the weather is just another factor the Jets will have to deal with. And the Patriots and their fans will have to deal with the fact that they won't go undefeated this year. Jets 38, Pats 20 - No handshake
I really hope you were being sarcastic when you said that the Jets ST's aren't special outside of Neon Leon.
Last year Miller was a pro bowler this year Washington could be a pro bowler. Nugent is a good kicker, it's too bad Grahm is terrible/
Yeah, that was an attempt at sarcasm. Obviously I didn't pull it off. I am serious about the score, though! I just need SOMETHING to get me through the last few games. And even though a win tomorrow would be sweet, it wouldn't make up for not making the playoffs. But I'll take what I can get.
