This team lacks a real gritty determination to succeed, too often after bad performances we hear the old " we need to figure this out" blah blah . I watched the game to the half yesterday as I had to be up at 3am and I knew we would not get back in the game as our CS seem unable to get this team out of anykind of malaise. Mangini is too much X and O's and not enough passion , you need a combination of the two or somebody like that on your CS. I noticed when NE played the other week that McDaniel was in Cassell and the Offense ear constantly , when do we see anyone like that on our CS? All we see is manboobs chewing cud! This team has too much talent not to win this division this season , if we fail to do so it lies squarely with one person and the is Manboobs. This division is ripe for the taking as proved by the fins beiong 8-5 , if we fail he should be fired simple as that! End of rant!
Too much talent? I don't know about that. I think that we tend to overrate our talent a bit. But I agree in the sense that they should have ENOUGH talent to compete with most teams in the league. And they certainly have enough talent to play MUCH better than they have the last 2 weeks.
Agree that we over value the talent but Coles and Cotchery to have one catch , Jones only 10 carries , Pace no sacks for 4 games that is coaching or the lack of it. Sid it before Mangini is too cute for his own good. We have a decent Oline , just pound the ball!
