The art of the trade down. we have no glairing holes to fill unless we lose a safety or CB. We need another WR but not worth spending a 1st on. The OL is good for another year or two and we could spend a 2nd round pick to sure it up. The only guy I think we still be there on my list at our 1st pick and would like to see a Jet is Terrence Cody from Alabama. Under Rex he would develope into a Jenkins type player. A guy I think would be a good pick but we have no mid picks to get is Danario Alexander WR of Missouri. He is a Colston like player. Height 6-5 Weight 215 lbs. 2009 Stats: Receptions 113 Yards 1781 Average 15.8 TDs 14 He is a 3rd or 4th round draft pick so unless we trade down to reach up he will not be a Jet. This guy has the one thing Edwards lacks, HANDS. He also has great balance and game speed. His 40 times might not be great, but when he has the ball in his hands he can outrun any defense. I think this kid will be a solid WR, even though he gets the knock of being from a smaller school. All I can say is 113 catches in a college season is great reguardless of the competition.
Mizzou isn't a small school - they play in the Big 12, which is a BCS conference. Alexander definitely has the size and great production...he'll get knocked because he plays in a high powered, pass-happy, spread offense that pumps up his numbers a little more.
