Cro looks like a bum who has lost the ability to play football. Dee Milliner looks like Gholston at cornerback, no awareness of anything going on around him, poor instincts, no quickness...just outhustled and burned by every ham and egg receiver he's faced

Before the barrage of "durr Asomugha suck gtfo" posts, let's evaluate the position of the team. We're 5-5. We're somehow STILL IN THE 6TH PLAYOFF SEED

It's all hands on deck right now.

Right now Dee Milliner is giving us a D- effort at the corner position. If Asomugha can come in and give us a C- effort, then as far as I'm concerned it's worth the pickup. He doesn't have to be great. If he's a tick better than Milliner then that's all we need

There is no excuse...Chris Hogan, Marquise Goodwin, and TJ Graham torched us

he is a disaster - he has slowed down to such a point where he can't play NFL corner anymore

At this point, why the heck not? Every off the street receiver is licking their chops when they see Milliner line up across from them. As much as Asomugha has regressed, he cant be any worse right now. I like the Reed pick up but we need a CB other then Cro and we need to start playing some more deep coverage with our safeties.

You guys really must not have seen what Nnamdi has become. The dudes best move is to retire at this point.

Nnamdi simply can't run the same anymore. He was a great press corner with good recovery speed. Now, he consistently gets burned by anyone who can run a 4.65 or faster. It's sad to see what he has become.

    Basically this.

The dude still is skilled but his athletic ability makes him useless. He never was a speedster to begin with and now he is just plain old, plus he can't tackle which makes him all but useless. I would hire him as a DB coach though.

    No. Absolutely not.

OP needs to watch him play. Oh yeah....you probably won't because he's now a corner with cement feet.

People here bash Milliner a ton, but Cromartie is playing just as bad, if not worse.

At least Milliner is a rookie, who at least usually keeps up with his receiver. His troubles today were locating the ball on that deep floater that the wind brought back, and giving too much cushion for the receivers.. and I think we know why the receivers got those cushions. Let Milliner go through his growing pains. At the end of the day, he messed up a bit, but he didn't play as terribly as ya make it seem.

Cro needs to go after this season.

    No Nnamdi

If anything let walls play out this season and be the starter next week.
    -------------------

Cro and milliner did give up a few big plays, but a qb throwing for 245 yds isn't "lighting up our secondary", but still not what we expect.

Our oline/Geno are the main reasons for this loss.

Where has Darrin Walls been? Feel like I haven't seen much of him in recent weeks.

This is inaccurate. Milliner has looked like rookie toast a lot but he has also had sequences where he was on it. That's just rookie toast, which is a fact of life for most NFL corners.

Bringing in a corner who got cut by his last two teams because he could no longer play the position isn't really an option.

You've gotta be kidding me. This guy is so washed up he'd makes Kyle Wilson look like Revis. Aso is done.
