yeah, NHL 08 rocks. I have the PS3 demo and love it, but I won't buy the game until it goes on sale. EA wants to do only half the wok for the PS3 version but still charge me the same price as the 360 version. no thanks, I'll pass on that. PS3 users really should boycott EA until they start developing for the PS3. but as long as we buy their half assed games they have no incentive to do otherwise.
despite my earlier rant, I relented and picked up the game. best sports game of the year! without a doubt. this is hockey done right.
Don't get me wrong... I LOVE the game. One thing that drives me nuts when I play it online though... People take bullshit wristers from the blueline that go in constantly. I mean... how the fuck don't you stop it? Sometimes they will be on a breakaway... do that... and still score. It's annoying as hell. You don't need any real skill in this game to win it seems. I like to throw in some dekes and passes. Some cheap bastards online.
