I agree with nearly every player listed here, especially the ones whose article notes I've included. The only exceptions for me would be the RBs. I think both Gerhart and Dwyer can be successful in this league if placed in an offense that understands their talents; which is, to pound the rock between the tackles. No flash, no sweeps. Just 10-15 carries/game in a RBBC to wear defenses down late in the game. Of all of them though, Weatherspoon, IMO, is probably the biggest future bust flying under the radar, ATM. He's the perfect LB, physically speaking, but his Senior Bowl really turned me off. He just doesn't seem to have that instinct to quickly locate, and then go hunt down the ball carrier. He seems lost when dropping back into coverage, and I really don't like his footwork and balance. He seems more concerned with talking than making plays. Thoughts?
eh, its Pete Prisco. and I wish NFLdraftscout didn't associate themselves with CBS's shitty writers but they do.
I think Prisco really hits the nail on the head here. I don't know if I agree with all his points, but his arguments are great. I think Dwyer has some value as a short yardage back a la LaRon McClain, but he could also be another Tony Hunt. Gerhart will probably end up playing H-Back at the next level. I think his hands are underrated and he's a natural receiver. His strength will be negated at the next level because he runs so high, but his ability to pick up the blitz and athleticism will serve him in a Jim Kleinsasser type role. -X-
