    QB Rankings

    2) Wilson 6.5
    3) Trey Lance 6.47
    4) Fields 6.45
    5) Jones 6.33

    Fell free to discuss.

FWIW most of the 7+ QBs have been busts. Darnold, burrow, trubisky, goff, and winston re the only 5 to get that grade since 2014. only burrow isn't a bust and doesn't look like he'll be one. it's pretty fair to call the rest busts compared to what they were expected to be. most of the best QBs in hindsight were graded in the 6.3-6.5 range. that list includes mahomes, jackson, watson, allen, and herbert. of course there were busts in that range too. this year that would be wilson, lance, fields, and jones. Only QB below a 6.3 who turned out good is dak

i mean he's rated as the 2nd best player in the draft behind the golden boy and a pro bowler. not sure how much higher they could have rated him TBH

Take away positional importance. Pitts is the best player in the draft.

What this tells me is that the rating system for QBs needs to be radically different that for all other players.

or they are just really hard to predict since it has the biggest learning curve from college to the NFL

Which means that they need a different way to rate them than the rest of the players.

IMO, every single QB that's in that list should be rated higher than any other player.

every player is graded per their position though. WRs on how they compare to other WRs etc etc. giving pitts a 7+ means they think he's better then at least 6 TEs in the NFL
the thing with QBs is college is such a different game and the learning curve is steepest for them. the NCAA is a bad farm system but it's hard to have a farm system when the shelf life of NFL players is so short
