First of all, the Jets are one of the biggest surprise teams thus far in the season and they don't even mention them during the show. Then, this happens: They start talking about the top performers of the week. Ditka ("da Coach") says that the punt returner from Indianapolis was the peak performer of the week. Then, the results are shown, and everyone who text-ed in basically voted for Favre. So Ditka, when pressed about his choice, because idiot Jaworski starts spouting off about how he's always right, says: "I'm a heck of a lot smarter than a lot of the people watching this show" Thanks coach.. that's great... but then Jaws (I hate this guy) says: "That ain't saying much." Wow. ESPN is so lofty and high powered now, that the analysts will sit there and rip the audience that's watching their show by essentially calling them idiots. And they don't mention the Jets. I hate ESPN. Thank you.
Espn should be ashamed of themselves for giving that piece of crap show the same name as the greatest highlight show of all time.
if anyone watched nfl countdown yesterday morning, ditka and jaws were all over each other. It was more of a rip towards ditka than it was to fans. Jaws and ditka were arguing about every little thing.. it was kinda funny actually
The show is not THAT bad. And its only week 3. The Jet have only beaten the Titans and the Bills.....beat Indy next week, then they will have something to talk about.
I would like to know if people actually feel better if so called experts "give us credit"....are we all 8 years old? I could not give a hairy ballsack who says what about the jets
I was just pissed off that they basically called the viewers morons. In terms of whether they give us credit or not, whatever. You're right that it doesn't matter... Stuart Scott looks like a baby retard. That's all I have to say.
Did anyone watch MNF last night? At halftime they show the highlights of all of the games. They showed every game except the Jets/Bills game.
i actually think Jaws has more credibility than most of the "experts." he played QB and he's a film nerd. most of the time, he knows what he's talking about, regardless of whether or not he's "right." cheers
The only replay I have seen of the Jets/Bills game wa on CBS halftime for the 4pm games. All they showed was Hobson returning the TD and how he clearly stepped out of bounds. That was the only video evidence I even have that they played this week. NOTHING!
Same here. When Mad Dog picks your team it's time to fold up your tent and go home for the season. Oh, and ESPN is total garbage. They're too busy selling phones and sweatshirts to get anything right.
