Im with you bro.....its mind numbingly boring...trey ko is going...go check out my comments in his thread about that shit....
It's a great show. It's like sprinting for dollars, as some defensive lineman who has failed to play at a high level for 2 or 3 years in school runs a 4.75 40 and suddenly becomes the buzz and eventually the 4 pick in the draft... Damn I hate Terry Bradway. And when the NFL becomes a cut-throat bowling league then maybe it will pay to draft a "bowling ball with knives".
If U say so OK by me. If U think it is silly & you do access NFL Network you & the same for IS can just not watch it if it does not turn you on
i like it, then you can actualy make up your own opinions instead of listening to people on the board promote their favorite player. plus its the only football related thing i have going for me till the draft. i love it.
After U read this you may want to check with Tony Soprano about doing something to B/way 2001 Santana M Gone 2002 B Thomas Certainly not a game changer so average at best 2003 DEW Same as B. Thomas right above him 2004 JV Same as DEW & B. Thomas right above him 2005 None Thank Dave Jolley & he to is gone
I understand the importance, and I understand why NFL Network covers it, but that doesn't make it any better television. There's a reason the thousand or so other TV networks in existance never covered it until now. But I might flip to it, I don't know. Always fun to see well known NFL brass sitting casually in an empty Indy Dome, or whatever it's called.
Seafood is on the money here...the football season is 4 months long and the NFL network is on 12 months a year so they have to put something on.....that shit is unwatchable..more power to you guys that are fired up about it, but Ill wait for Kiper to tell me who ran fast and who is too fat, short, retarded whatever
NFL Europe is good, I'll be looking forward to that. Kind of like the reverse of soccer here, nobody in the crowd except a handful of diehards, no juice locally.
Bryan Thomas, Dewayne Robertson, Jon Vilma, and Santana Moss at this point are all atleast above average players......I'm not getting into a Vilma argument with you again, but if you want to discuss the other 3 players I will be willing to.
I find the combine interesting, especially with Mayock's player analysis. He really nails the player's strengths and weaknesses. If you aren't a draftnik, I can see why it would be boring, but then.... don't whine about what players the Jets draft!
if I dont watch the combine I cant whine about who the Jets draft? that makes no sense....because you watch it, you feel you know more? because you know how high a guy can jump? silliness
After the first 10 guys or so I don't know much about too many of these guys anyway. Even D'Brick, #4 in the draft, I never saw him play until he got here. It's an inexact science to say the least, you don't know how a draft went until 4-5 years afterwards.
Well why you want to discuss a player that is NO longer a NYJ is beyond me & if Santana is as good as you think then how stupid are we to have let him go? As for the other players they will just be footnotes to history in the NFL cause they are not even close to being superior players
