Its suppose to be on time warner free for a week. but i cant find the channel anywhere. http://www.iwantnflnetwork.com/ this is the only thing i could find about what chanel id be on. anyone live near the syracuse area know what chanel its on?
For some reason my TV won't go about 100. maybe its because im using TIVO.. either that or its because my TV's are a few years old
I can barely make out whos on the tv the quality is so bad...not to mention bryant gumbel doing play by play is just god awful.
Cablevision stated the ONLY PART of the free week preview they will air is the Rutgers game. There is no need for them to do it for the Giants game, because it will be on NBC (because of the local market rules).
Not quite. As others have said, the network is already on Cablevision if you have digital cable, on channel 414. They are also going to put the Rutgers game on expanded basic cable (for those who don't have digital boxes) on channel 14, but only that. They were never offering the Giants game to anyone for this free week (including systems outside New York), but as you note, that is irrelevant for people in New York since the game will be on broadcast TV.
Cablevision said this themselves, I didn't make that up. If they reversed field, so be it, but they initially announced they were showing Rutgers and that's it. You are right, they had NO NEED to show the Giants game during the free week. NFL Network isn't offering it, but it's on free TV anyway. If Cablevision has nFL network already, what's all the whining about? I would NEVER EVER deal with Cablevision for TV. Couldn't pay me enough. I could have their TV for $10 since I have their Phone and Modem. I won't do it because they're that annoying.
good, except for... the NFL network is kickass, except for the bald fat analyst "jamie dukes", some guy who apparently played in the NFL even though I never heard of him. the only guy i can compare him to is doug collins on TNT broadcasts. the guy never shuts up and acts like he knows everything.
They said that about a week ago, and then agreed to show the entire week on digital cable three or four days ago.
