As fans of the New York Jets, we have known what a special player we have in Wilkerson. Last night, all the NFL fans who watched the game now know what we know: we have the best DT in the league at this point. He runs around OLmen. He runs through OLmen. He blows up play after play. He is a special player that makes all those around him better. Those who know me know that I value impact DLmen and OLmen above all other positions, because it is these positions that games are won and lost. With Wilkerson, Richardson, Snacks, Ellis, and Couples, Rex has built a defense that is one of the most ferocious I have ever seen not in a Ravens uni. And it all starts with the big man, MoWilk.

Get ready for annual trips to the pro bowl starting this year, big guy. You've earned it!

Just imagine what Richardson is going to look like in another year. Harrison is taking big steps, I didn't even know he was on the team last year. We have great coaches; and great coaching can mold a big ball of clay.

He really is so much fun to watch play. Already dominant and still getting better as a player & leader for the Jets.

Sheldon, Snacks, Douzable & Ellis are all contributing .... now we need Coples to have a breakout game this year.

Glad to see Gruden gave him a lot of love last night. He is a secret no longer. He's become one of the best defensive players in football

I couldn't agree more. I said it the other night, and I still say that. I love how much love he is getting, and will get. I also think OL, and DL are most important parts about the NFL outside of QB, so I'm quite optimistic.
That's what I've been thinking too. Sheldon has looked like an elite player in his FIRST season. I'm VERY excited about him. Snacks also, looks elite, and the stats back it up...at least according to PFF.
Douzable has been an unexpected joy for sure. I hardly knew him before a few months ago, but his fumble recovery was big, and it wasn't the first big play he's made this year. I hope he stays around.
Hell yeha man, and that's why he's my favorite announcer...along with Al Michaels.

As a Patriots fan, I do envy you guys having him, but, I'd still take Geno Atkins over him, thats about the only DT I'd prefer.

You guys have one hell of a player in Wilkerson and it's scary to think that he's so young and has his whole career ahead of him still. Congrats on that pick.

    Love Mo!
    and the D-line!
Been a while since we've had a Line like this.

You know what's sad? Is that I have ZERO confidence that when his contract is up, the JETS will pay up.

    So basically, enjoy it.

I have been thinking about how it will suck to see this group get broken up once all the rookie deals start coming to an end. Mo is gonna cost us a ton to keep. But we have a lot of salcap room, so maybe it won't be so bad after all? It'll be interesting to see what Izdik does this offseason....

Maybe his impact can be what JPP had for the Giants. Opposing offenses will be scared
