The funny thing is that every Mock Draft has us taking a RB. Yet when you go on any NY Jet message board I think most of us want an explosive OLB (Woodley) or a DE or DT in the 3-4. I prefer going D than a RB. I would prefer Lamarr Woodley in Round 1

I totally agree. The Jets 3-4 needs a better 3. RB is not a big need right now. But, if there is a RB that Tanginibaum sees as the second coming and wants to go for it in the 1st Round, I have no problem with that either.

The Tanginibaum philosophy seems to be going for guys in the unloved positions (any defense position or o-line) early in the draft and the exciting positions (QB, RB, WR, TE) later in the draft. Makes perfect sense to me because guys in the exciting positions are always overhyped and you can find value in later rounds.

I would love that pick. Leon Washington and Cedric Houston are ridiculously overrated around here. This team needs a franchise RB.
