Other than the DL, from top to bottom this team needs an infusion of players Day one arrivals are PK ST OL so already my radar is up Day two QB WR TE Ditto for me Check out article on NJ.com Action starts at 1PM NFL Network Ill be sitting and toiling at my desk while these kids (and Rich Eisen lol) get to do the 40 yd dash
I'll be watching all the workouts because at 6 I think we have great opportunity in picking up some talent within the first 4 rounds. I also think that although we don't have a fourth round pick, I think we may see a trade or two transpire that will allow for us to get back into the 4th round. This draft is very deep and I think that teams can acquire legitimate players from rounds 1-4.
I wanted to get back in the 4th as well. But if I'm not mistaken we got a compensatory pick in the 3rd, which is about as good as a high 4th so I'd like to see them stand Pat unless there is some low hanging fruit to trade up for (in terms of risk v reward).
Yes we have a 3rd round pick which is slated to be at the end of the 3rd round. In essence, it would amount to the same thing, but I'm hoping we get a 3rd or 4th in a trade for Richardson. And maybe a few extra picks depending on how they decide to treat the Brandon Marshall or Decker situation.
If I understand correctly, offense will be Thursday/Friday during business hours so no, I will not watch the combine.
I will be practicing darts then placing all the combine attendees on a board because that pretty much what it will take to determine what player will make it to the next level.
Ok guys anybody watch some good players today..? Gimme some inside dope here Oh shoot..my bad Nothing getsx started till 3/3 Friday
Reuben Foster sent home for an argument with medical staff...wtf? http://www.nj.com/eagles/index.ssf/2017/03/2017_nfl_combine_latest_on_reuben_foster_being_sen.html
Joe Marino @TheJoeMarino Tennessee DE Derek Barnett 6'3'', 259 lbs. Much smaller than expected. LOSER: Derek Barnett Tennessee defensive Derek Barnett measured 6-foot-3, 259 pounds on Friday. That is lighter than scouts expected for the first-round prospect. Barnett won't have the opportunity to answer skeptics on the field because he will miss Saturday's drills due to an illness, according to an ESPN report. I wonder if this might make him drop in the draft. If so, maybe Barnett could play OLB after all, and maybe the Jets might be able to grab him.
NFL Research ✔@NFLResearch Based on the combine, Leonard Fournette has: - Same weight as Clay Matthews - Same burst as Percy Harvin - Same speed as Jordy Nelson WINNER: Leonard Fournette Fournette's stock had dipped early in the Combine (more on that below), but the LSU running back bounced back on the field on Friday. Fournette ran a 4.51-second 40-yard dash, which helped answer some doubts after he weighed in at 240 pounds. Fournette's showing in some of the other on-field tests helped to keep his first-round stock from plummeting.
oj howard 4.51 draft this beast, i don't about positions of value. this guy is going to shred the league
