I thought this was interesting. We have been looking at this guy apparently and with a late pick, I'm not sure if I would mind it or not. Check this article out: http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/0ap1...des-out-as-a-future-nfl-franchise-quarterback
Watch the complete game vids on him and then tell me what you see. I see a fairly inaccurate QB who throws a heavy ball at times, makes some real head-scratchers and is prone to turning the ball over. He'd definitely be a good pickup late if that was what was left but he doesn't look like a guy who is going to make a seamless transition to the NFL. This is a faster game than college ball and Glennon is already having some issues with decision-making and reaction time.
Agree with you completely which is why I am still on the fence about him. Not sure what I think. I just wanted to post this article to get an idea of what people think of him. I wonder if we are serious about the interest shown in drafting him. I hope we take a QB this year in hopes of a sleeper, but I don't think we'll be taking Glennon.
I don't like him that much at all. I'd rate, Geno, Manuel, Bray, Wilson, and maybe even Barkley ahead of him. If he can be had really late, then yes, but I doubt he lasts that long.
I also see a guy who had probably about 4 dropped passes a game by his receivers, had not help from his run game and played behind a porous offensive line. I actually think he's pretty accurate and has a very good arm, but I do question his pocket awareness. I dont really see a QB in this class having a seemless transition to the NFL, maybe aside from Geno. If he can clean up his mental mistakes, he could be a good QB. With that said, there's about 3-4 QBs I would prefer over him.
