Newest fantasy ranking is out and Geno is 31st out of the 32 starting QBs this week

    2014 Rankings: Quarterbacks

    The only QB with a worst fantasy ranking is Charlie Whitehurst. Now you all might say fantasy football has nothing to do with QB play or ability, but it has everything to do with it. You can blame our WRs, GM, HC or OC, but Smith is not the answer and no one has faith in his ability or this team.

    It looks like the Jets will be 1-6 after week seven, will this be enough to shake your faith in Rex and Geno?

    The only thing worse than watching Geno on the field is watching Rex try to poke fun at BB. The Patriots have twice as many wins so far and Rex actual feels he can poke fun at a HOF coach because they have a horrible game. Have he not watched his own games? Even though this is the first hint Rex may actually have his balls still itact, it was poor judgment. So when the Pats kill us is a couple weeks, Rex can point at himself.

    I think Geno is garbage but using fantasy football rankings to argue it seems asinine to me.

    I agree that Rex should STFU (when is this not the case?), but usually, Jets-Pats games are extremely competitive. There's nothing to suggest that they will "kill us" in a few weeks. If it's like every other game we have played this season, it will be a close game that we have ample chances to win.

    I love how 1-6 is such a given to some fans.

    You do realize we could win this week and Manning could get hurt and miss next weeks game, right?. Will both of those things happen? Probably not. But in this sport it's possible.

    This isn't the NBA, you cant look 3-4 games ahead and get a record right.

    And who cares about fantasy rankings. If you don't start a top 10 QB you probably won't win your league.

    Geno Smith is currently a better fantasy QB than Tom Brady.

    Therefore, Geno>Brady.

    The big difference here is that most likely Brady will get back on track, Geno doesn't have a clue how to get to the train station.
