New York might become relevant again in sports. Mets have a new owner with deep pockets. Jets might be on a new course towards a functioning franchise with Douglas.. Knicks have a nice mix of young talent and competent coaching. Rangers have a pipeline of top end young talent.
Mets are miles ahead of the Knicks and Jets are somewhere trying to catch up to the Mets. It all starts with ownership incompetence. Dolan is the worst of the worst, Johnsons are pretty bad, Cohen saved the Mets
Lol. I don't even know if this should stay here or go to NFL forum or NHL forum or baseball forum. Let another mod deal with that. I am leaving things alone. Now about me. My only team in USA is Jets. Don't have a baseball team or hockey team or a basketball team. I will root for New York teams in the playoffs but won't watch even one full game of any New York team in regular season. I couldn't care less. That said, there is one NY team I don't like. Giants. They can go to hell. That said, more and more NY teams making the playoffs will make sports fun for me. So go NY teams minus the Giants.

I just can't get myself like those sports chief. Baseball too slow for my taste. Hockey, I get tired trying to follow the puck. Basketball just not my thing. For me it is soccer due to growing up not having any other sports to watch and then the NFL. Lately, if it isn't my soccer team playing, I prefer any NFL game over any soccer game.
Yeah NY has been down so long even cities like Philly think they can talk down to us.. we're overdue for A LONG run of good teams. But I don't care what anybody says NYC won't be back until the Knicks are good again (and the Jets are my fav team overall)
The Rangers could be really good. The stars have aligned for them two drafts in a row and they already had a few really good players.
