Ferguson- LT is a huge need for them since Gandy is about 52850961 years old and counting so they draft a franchise LT to lead the way for the next 10 years.
BTW~ We're starting over in order to get a more realistic view on the upcoming draft next month. DITK and myself will be in charge but we're open to any suggestions anybody has. We'll start with New Orleans because it's obvious that the Texans choose Bush. 1.Texans-Reggie Bush 2.Saints-?
If I was them I'd take Hawk, I wouldn't take Williams even though I think he's BPA. They have two very good ends, Charles Grant and Will Smith. D'Brick would be a good pick because they need an OT, but I think OLB is by far their biggest need. They really have no one there. Due to this, I voted for Hawk, even though I think they would take D'Brick if they don't trade the pick.
Can't Jammal Brown play LT for New Orleans? They selected him in the 1st round last year or is he just a RT?
They were talking about last year how Brown went before Barron because he was a talented true RT and that was a bigger need at the time for NO then a LT. Kind of like us this year... Brown seems to be a "franchise RT" and not being capable of being a LT.
If I were them I would take Ferguson because they already have to good De's and no offensive line to protect Brees.
They have DE. That's not a need. Since the Brees deal is actually a one year deal (huge option bonus due before next season that could lead to a release), I think they should take Leinart.
They may think that Mario Williams is the best thing since sliced bread so in this case they go with Mario.
I strongly believe that the player they really want is AJ Hawk, they just aren't sure what to do to secure him.
Mario, sure they have those other DE's but seriously they are not game changing players, he can be and will be, they could run the defense around him
And allow opposing DEs to take turns sacking Brees 5 times a game? I'll take D'Brick thank you... Super Mario is a great player but he's not a superhuman type of prospect where you have to take him before you pick for a need.
