If it's true that Harbaugh is going to get fired from San Francisco, I would like to see him on the jet sideline. However if there is some offensive minded HC that is an assistant in the NFL or at the college level that is getting a good reputation, I would like to see the jets give them a shot. I have to do some research before I can give you some names.
The Jets are whining and crying that fans are booing them. They LOVE playing for Rex despite not winning shit. Can you imagine Harbaugh coming in and cracking the whip?? Unnamed sources would be rampant with, "The new coach is mean to us."
Its NY and we need a HC who can handle the press. I think our GM set up Rex and was planning to fire him at seasons end regardless. The $20+ million in cap is being hoarded to help tempt the next coach to take the job. As of right now the Jets would have $145M next season to spend on building a new offence. I just hope they give the next HC free will to get the groceries.
We're going to have trade for him. He' still under contract, and I'm sure there will be many teams dying for his services. But if we get him, Mariota, and a WR in the second round we may have the start of something. I'd also like Daryl Bevel or maybe David shaw.

He is impressive in auburn. I didn't know much about him till the last national championship game so I did some research in the offseason. Seems like a good fit, hard nosed but not a complete dick and could handle the bullshit that ny seems to spew.
