Getting a jump on the Black Friday sales. I'm expecting a LG C9 77" OLED 4K to be delivered next week! Just in time for TDay, Xmas and my BDay! Yeah, I went all in on OLED. Paid a good price for it. $1000 less than Best Buy with free shipping. I don't think I'm going to wall mount either. I got a nice wood TV stand for it but I will place the sound bar ABOVE the tv and keep the sub woofer where it is. I will be going full discrete 7.2 soon as I do my homework on the GEAR for it. Wifey said no, but I got it anyway. Better to beg forgiveness than ask permission. Can't wait to watch my first Jet game in true HDR/4K. I’m still watching TV on a 55 inch Panasonic plasma that is 11 years old. That is a beautiful TV, I’m sure I’ll be shopping for one at some point. When you are watching your fishing shows it will be like you are in the boat...

My plasma gave it up 2 years ago. Been watching on a Sharp Aquos 70" 108p. Not the worst TV. Will probably give it to my Son so he can put it in his man cave.
11 years! Frugal like me! Frugality! I always thought that was an attractive trait in a man! But in your case the practical side of me tells me that all you do is talk about your aches and pains! I don’t like being wasteful, buy quality and hold on to it for as long as I can. With regards to the cold, I love Fall, Winter and Spring and despise the Summer. LOL... Several years ago, you may have had a point! Nowadays? I just shrug... Man, can't wait for 4k NFL broadcast become common place. I believe this TV upscales 1080p to 2160p so I'll get a simulated 4k broadcast anyway. DTV does 4K broadcasts on thursday games.
Cman my problem, years ago not now was that I would not throw the remote but rather punch a wall but as I got older I don't know if I got wiser or If I got just tired of patching and spakling holes in sheetrock ? Enjoy the TV man
