Nice Job! Although, as I stated in another thread, if Mangold is available in Rd 2 for the Saints at #34 he's going to NO.Losing Bentley, would be a no-brainer taking Mangold 1pick before the Jets.

You better take a peek at the Saints linebacking core ... you'd be hard pressed to find a more pathetic group anywhere in the league ... and Thomas Howard is an outstanding prospect, as is D'Qwell Jackson ... I'm definitely figuring the Saints for an LB in RD 2 ... they almost have to take advantage of the Quality LB's who figure to be on the board in that spot Here are the Saints linebackers as we speak ... Jabba....I believe we both have valid points for both positions. I understand your concern for the lack of playmakers in the Saint's linebacker corp. I really like Fincher, he will be a a very good player if given the opportunity to start, the rest of the group is either a bunch of retreads from other teams or inexperienced players. Thomas Howard may not last to rd 2...it's a 50/50 chance. The Saints have made their bed and they have to sleep in it, they have been ignoring beefing up their linebackers for years. The Saints back 7 has been one of the worst in the NFL for quite a while. While I agree the Saints need to address their back seven, center is a huge question mark also. My point was after Bentley leaves, the Saints have nada at Center. To pass up a player like Mangold to work with a new QB (Leinart) would be a questionable move. Mangold would be the BPA for a major need.

I think you can wait till day 2 say round 4 or 5 to get someone like a Kellen Clemmons or a Brett Basanez. I would have gone Victor Adeyanju in the 3rd Mangold in the second and D'Brick in the first. As for the trade to Broncos a realistic idea and I would shoot for a Gilles in that spot. Dark horse would be Chad Jackson but i think you have to go o line because it's in shambles and needs stability.
I would if Croyle was available...and if he was, I definitely wouldn't take Whitehurst. Other than that, nice-looking mock, especially with the edit so we get Mangold.
I'd love this draft Jabba- inside, I would love to have Super Mario on the line. Sure, Abe was a great pass rusher but his run defense was average at best. The fact that we can grab Winston that late in the 1st round is highway robbery. If we then grab Mangold in the 2nd, I would be ecstatic. Only thing I might do different is take good old #12 from Bama instead of Whitehurst. I just do not like Whitehurst's decision-making ability. What a draft day
