Even if I had the money, I would not want to invest my TIME in something I had no emotional investment in. I just see no reason to want to go if my team isn't there. What do you guys think?
I'm a hard core fan of football but in all honesty ... I think I would probably sell my ticket most years.
You'll never hear me complain. Besides, that aspect of my life doesn't take up ALL my time. I have some time available to pursue other interests. Back on topic. I think there are only four men in this exclusive club and three of them are in their 70's.
This makes no sense. If your were a h-core fan of football you would be invested in all of the Super Bowls regardless of who's playing because of the magnitude and nature of the game. Although, I'm with you, if I won the VISA win for life thing, I'd probably go to a few Super Bowls but I would sell the tix for $$ most years.
Besides people do reunions every year...these lucky SoBs happen to have their reunion at the Super Bowl.
How is that question even relevant to the original topic? Is his participation in this thread contingent upon my answer? And I appreciate Dierking's concern for my personal sex life but how is that even relevant to the Super Bowl club? I guess we all have questions.
I thought that's what was mentioned above, also Dan Quayle told me personally and Ronald Reagan made a public speech about it, as he was a guest of honor at a very special unnamed event.
Because you knock these people for being emotionally invested in the game of football even thuogh their team isn't playing, yet you also state that you're a fan of football and not of any particular team. Confusing, as usual.
When I get that Super Bowl ticket in my hand, that's the moment that I start to feel "Its real, I'm goooin' again."
The hell with that if I had the cash I would go to the SB every year. Its the best game of the year no matter who is playing. It would just be awesome as a JETS FAN to see them play in the SB.
