OK I need to know what to do my draft is coming up monday

I'm sitting in the 5th spot in a snake (1st pick is the last pick in round 2). Guessing LT, LJ, and Alexander will be gone...assuming Tiki is not available (though I wouldn't pick him if he was) who should I pick?

under normal circumstances I'd pick Portis but with the Ducket trade and his inj its hard to get value for the pick

I have an option to trade down to the #9 pick (and swap 2nd round picks in the deal) where I would want to get Ronnie Brown (I really believe the 5 pick is too high for him...not a good value)

    or should I pick edge???

That trade sounds good. Then you can pick up two solid options.....I would try to push for a later round pick too though. Because moving down 4 spots in the 1st round isnt worth moving up 4 spots in the 2nd round.

I agree with MParty except I'd still do it even if he didn't throw in the late round pick.

trade down...although if tiki was there at 5 youd be crazy not to take him....if its because hes agiant and youre a jet fan then you have to change your philosophy asap

Definitely trade down. 3 picks in the first two rounds, when you don't have a chance at the big 3 is a great move.

If you stay put though, I'd consider Edgerin James. He's risky because of a new offense and poor offensive line, BUT Arizona puts up a lot of points. They move the ball very well, so he'll get plenty of redzone touches. He may rush for less yardage than in the past, but he should get more TDs to compensate.

oh no it has nothing to do with who he plays for in a league that cost $300 to play one has to be sensible...it has to do with the fact that he's 31, losing carries to jacob and plays in the nfc east

naw i'd only have 2 picks in the first 2 rounds we'd swap draft positions for both rd 1 and 2...though I wish I could get 3 picks its not reasonable for my opostion...as for James in the past few days I'm really thinking about staying put and just taking James...I'm projecting the big 3 then tiki and if its between a hurt ports (with TJ taking away goal line carries) and the Edge...then Edge makes sense...its going to take me another day or so to make up my mind...

I would go Edge at #5. You'd have to figure the next 4 are Jordan, Rudi Johnson, Steven Jackson and Clinton Portis in some order. Maybe Ronnie Brown. The drop off isn't that huge, so I'd consider moving down and swapping 2nd rounders.

Edge/Carnell/Lamont either one would be great value.

Well that's not what I mean.

I've got Alexander, Portis, Benson, and Addai in one league and I'm trying to give him Alexander and Addai/Benson to get Edge and Ronnie and it seems like no matter what I do he doesn't wanna do it...but yet he wants Alexander (and i dont). So it's hard to get a deal done...but it'll work eventually.

Anyway so I thought today since Ronnie has not been doing well against starters in all 3 games...my confidence for an unproven back like him is not very well. So I guess I'll just go for Edge.
