Season starts tonight with South Carolina at Vanderbilt. A match-up with two great RB's. Zac Stacey for Vanderbilt and Marcus Lattimore for South Carolina
Lattimore looks 100 percent. He's a hell of a worker, I hope he stays healthy, he'll be a player in the league.
Really curious to see if Vandy can get over the hump this year. They were so close in so many of their losses
Terrible no-flag. But Vandy has pretty bad luck I wasn't surprised by it... Edit: The neutral zone botched call when we really made the FG and incorrectly calling Rodgers down for the sack when he actually should've been awarded 30 rushing yards basically makes 6 points on its own without even talking about the pass interference no-call.
I don't get how they missed that. The announcers then start talking about how face guarding in college is legal. Nothing to do with face guarding. He clearly grabbed his arm before the ball arrived! Textbook pass interference.
Alabama imposing their will on Michigan. Although the defensive back of bama just shoved the wide receiver out of bounds 10 yards down the field with no call. Can't believe refs missed that.
Alabama is embarrassing Michigan right now. 2 yards per play? thats the best the #9 team in the country can muster? I'm sorry but Michigan is over rated. I don't really care if Alabama is the best team in the country, but 2 yards per play by a supposed top 10 team is just ridiculous.
I don't take preseason rankings seriously. The rankings are based all on speculation and not on play. I also have a personal bias where I think the big 10 or 12 or whatever Ohio State is in is overrated. Yeah they were up 14-0 and he shoved the WR out of bounds and ran down the field and got the pick. Denard tried to tackle him and went shoulder first and hurt his shoulder on the tackle.
what a huge mistake by Washington, hands the game to VT in OT he threw it up for grabs rather than getting sacked or throwing it out of bounds. resulted in an INT, so GT couldn't get a FG, meaning all VT needed to win was a FG and they got it. 20-17 final
Pitt was horrible tonight. 3 points. Cincinnati destroyed them edit: Pitt finally scored a TD with 34 seconds left, when they were down 31. Yay.
