game is nice as hell. presentation is ridic. bit of a learning curve for me since i havent picked up a b ball game in a minute despite it being my 2nd fav sport. Nets fan. i traded Lopez, Petro and swapped first rd picks with the Clippers for Blake Griffin swinging trades can be a bitch in that game took me forever to get someone i actually wanted
Not that I care, but; http: http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=60009 Game's pretty sick, I usually play My Player mode
haha damn what a coincidence, I actually just picked it up today. Haven't played it yet but I'm sure it's fun
i had a filter on that only showed the topics from the last month didnt notice till u said it. i figured it a bit weird there werent many threads lol
I picked this up a few weeks ago and was stuck in difficulty purgatory for awhile. Default pro I would rape, default all star I would get raped. Finally downloaded a decent slider set off of 2kshare that is good for all star. Only thing that could make this game better is if they made it so you could always have icon passing up and do everything else because the default passing sucks a fat dick.
Question for you guys playing franchise: How many games to do you actually play? How often do you sim? Or are you able to play a 24 game season, etc, in the game?
I dont know how it is in the new one, I imagine it's the same, but in the old sersions there was a minimum season length to earn trophys.
I don't get to play it enough to do a franchise so I just do NBA Today games that I feel like playing.
ive simmed 1 game in a full length season and im 11-1 right now. my only loss being to the kings before i made previously mentioned trade to acquire blake griffin. id sim more but i lose most games when i sim. but ive beaten the magic twice, the nuggets, and the heat once or twice when i play. and yeah it took me a while first few games ive played were ugly
this game is legit. by far the best NBA video game I've ever played. the gameplay is as close to real life as you can get on a console.
i got screwed. i was like 16-2 and simmed just to see how good the team would fare. then it autosaved over the file soon as i finished the reg season. i ended up winning like 46 games and getting the 5 seed. not to mention I had Blake Griffin and Deron Williams lighting it up. both their stats went down. Griffin was a ROY lock at 30+ PPG and 10+ RBG dropped to like 19PPG and 8 RPG through trades earlier made I had 2 1st rd picks in the lottery. on my 2nd or 3rd sim of the lottery i ended up with picks 1 and 2 of the draft. (lucked out there big time) didnt need Kylie Irving so i traded back into spots 5 and 6. netting more future 1sts and current 2nd rd picks. Drafted Harrison Barnes at 5 and Perry Jones at 6 Barnes is putting up like 30.7 PPG not much else just a scoring machine Griffin has like 26 PPG and like 14 RPG (2nd to only Howard whos beasting at like 19 RPG) Jones has like 17 PPG and 9 RPG (he doesnt even start) Williams only at 13 PPG but something like 14.5 APG
This game is 29.99 at gamestop . I'm considering getting it but cant decide whether to get that . God of War 3 (24.99) , played the other 2 and loved em but really wanted to play the third just never got around to it . Or Red Dead Redemption for (26.99). Love sports games but they always get dull quick. Opinions?
