Lets make it 1 on offense and defense Offense: Brandon Marshall - Could be our 1st WR with 10 TDs in a season since Santana Moss Defense: Darrelle Revis -Should never have left...Could go down as the greatest defensive Jet of all time
Offense: Eric Decker. He may be the best number 2 WR in the league and I can't wait to see him against 2nd cbs. Defense: Leonard Williams. Just as we lose a DROY, perhaps we can get one as a starter off the bat.
Geno, not sure if it happens but i would like to see him in chans offense and either know he is not the one or see him step up and end the search Demario Davis. Had high hopes for him. Still do but the optimism has waned over the summer
Offense: James Carpenter, LG. It's been awhile since the Jets had a good LG, I'm hoping Carpenter makes the leap in his new surroundings. Defense: Leonard Williams, RE. Ditto for a dominant pass rusher. Hoping Williams turns into one.
Fitzpatrick: Because I have a feeling people will be talking about a career resurgence for him by week 4. Mauldin: Feel like Bowles will be sending him to attack the QB early and often.
all good choices above role players can provide exciting moments too. so just to mix it up, i'll name a couple role players who i think will get us cheering. Offense: Bilal Powell, Chris Owusu Defense: Buster Skrine, Lo Mauldin
Looking forward to watching Mauldin. I was very happy when they drafted him. He seemed like the kind of guy that is very easy to root for. Then I looked back at his tape, and I wasnt sure he had the athleticism to be a serious player at the NFL level. Then I saw him make some really nice plays in preseason. So basically I have no clue what to expect, and I'm looking forward to seeing when I was right.
The whole defense as a unit, "Open The Gates Of Hell " " Have them take the other team out to DEEP Water and drown them. " YOU have to love Bart Scott
On O, definitely Chris Ivory. Count me as a big fan, but more than that I would like to see his style of play inspire the rest of the offense to play like he does. Give it all every down, punish the opponent, play with heart but in control. I am also a big fan of Mangold's for his consistency and dedication, and leadership. But Ivory is exciting, and other than Mangold he's my favorite on O since Curtis left. On D and for very different reasons I want to see Coples FINALLY start playing up to his draft status. Doesn't mean I will see it, of course, but he could make a huge difference. Since he may well not, I guess I will be looking to see how much Revis and Cro turn the secondary around, so I can see why some others have mentioned Pryor here.
Just actually excited about the entire season unlike last year where you knew the lack of investment and poor CB depth were going to KILL the season before it started, so many early games we just lost by a single score - tantalisingly close yet horribly far. Hard to give just one as so many new pieces Offence Brandon Marshall & Devin Smith - quality WR's for the first time since I can't remember Defence The entire starting 11 once Sheldon returns - the ability to dictate to an OC will be a pleasant change. If just one player Revis (getting over my bitterness on the constant hold outs)
Players most looking forward to watching: Defense: Lo Mauldin and the return of Milliner for the second half of 2015 Offense: Marshall and Devin Smith Game coaching and management most looking forward to watching : Going into the 2 minute warning with time outs left for a change
