1st round is hard to even guess, but we will go DE or OLB. We need to pressure the QB and are not getting it done. Four of the top five OLB in the draft are 3/4 defensive guys which fits our team really nice. On the other hand they are guessing eight to ten DEs will go in the first round. My 1st Round Pick: OLB Dontay Moch, Nevada (What he lacks in height is more than made up with speed.) He played DE in college and has the speed and agility to either get the QB or drop back as a OLB and cover any WR or TE. Scouts in attendance at Nevada's junior pro day in May called Nevada one of the fastest teams they've been around. But it was Moch, the 6-foot-1, 245-pound disruptor at defensive end, who generated the most buzz. The rumor making the rounds on Wolf Pack-centric websites is that Moch busted 4.3 seconds in the 40-yard dash. 4.27 seconds one said. 4.28 said another. Improbable. Hold up. Make that probable. Sources tell Rob Rang of NFLDraftScout that Moch ran 4.25 40. When he was asked to run another, Moch ran a 4.19." 2nd Round Pick: S Robert Sands, West Virginia He played at a good school in a good defensive system. He has size which we are lacking at safety and we don't know how Jim will come back from his injury or if Pool will be around in 2011. Smith is not the answer or a starting Safety in the NFL. He is coming from a small school, but has excelled and dominated his oponents. These are three guys who would contribute from day one and would give depth or even fill holes on the starting squad.
Sorry, but Dontay Moch is a late 3rd rounder ------- at best. Kendrick (or Kenrick) Ellis is probably an early 4th rounder.
Moch is an average football player with track speed, describing him as raw would be an understatement...
