So easy to point fingers, I think the first and obvious answer is coaching:

Saleh is not a head coach. He is a defensive coordinator who doesn't do much on the sidelines. Boomer and Gio say it really well, it's scary how he talks to nobody on the sidelines. I saw a clip of Sean Payton and Bo Nix yelling at each other and think Saleh can use some of that. Maybe he wants to let Hackett do his thing but at the end of the day, you are what your record is and he has been terrible.

Hackett-Judging by the pundits, his offense is now the most basic, bad, and easily predictable offense. Dan Orlovsky had a great tweet on that 4th and 2 how Breece Hall was 8 yards behind the LOS to start. It's just crazy. Also, seeing Baldy talk about the routes and it's too easy to predict. I actually am optimistic our OL is not that bad and our O is just too easy to defend and that's why we look bad on OL.

MY BIGGEST ISSUE, because of how bad the above is, our player development on O is non existent. Who has impoved on o? If anything, everybody has regressed. Wilson, Hall, the OL, etc. Nobody looks good. I think about an assistant coach people don't like, Keith Carter. Does this show? It may. Just a shame what's going on.

And then to Douglas. I think about how missing on Zac Wilson alone should have got him canned. And he's made some nice trades, he's made some good picks, he's made some bad picks. But I just think about Malachi Corley, getting immediate help for Aaron Rogers this year.....FRESH SLATE, and his scouting dept yields him this guy who cant even see the field. How are we getting better when your draft picks don't play? and TBH, he may be our most valuable pick because Rogers needs a YAC guy, a jet sweep guy, a short pass guy. We don't have time for these predictable plays. He wont make it through this year.

Bottom line, this just comes down to miserable ownership. It starts from the top.

Rant over, feel better. And PS, want to remain optimistic for MNF. If were 2-4, it's time to panic.

Go listen to Mike Francesa's podcast yesterday after this joke of a game. He is SPOT ON. The offense is broken and is not repairable in its present state. I mean look at all of the other teams in the NFL, they play a certain way, and the Jets play the amateur boring garbage way on offense. It is beyond pathetic already.

Fair to say I am checked out as of this morning. Knowing Saleh is a blowhard and Joe D is an incompetent idiot leaves me no hope for the remainder of this season.

We have all been watching the exact same thing play out each game over the past 4 seasons. The players change but the results don't. I have zero reason to expect anything better than a 7-8 wins as the ceiling for the 24/25 season. This continues to look like the least dynamic Offense in the NFL despite having some decent pieces in Wilson, Hall, Allen, etc.

All your points are spot-on. I am usually not a fan of firing coaches mid-season but I just cannot seeing things turning around under this regime. Saleh and Douglas really should have been shown the door last year. The Rodgers injury bought them an additional season with an unspoken playoff mandate.
